You know, I can’t stand Heather Mallick half of the time—-EDIT: actually, I love her. Just woke up and was thinking of Maragaret Wente. Hell no. Total cunt.

If you read the piece, it’s a really funny work of catty satire while nailing a whole bunch of points- some new, some old.

What I find mystifying is that this would’t have even registered on the 24-hour news/canned indignation radar if, say, Rex Murphy wrote it.

Partially frustrating, but also like I mentioned to a friend who posted this on the MyFacsebooksster or whatever you kids call it: There is a bit of our “Hey look! Look! We got some attention!” thing to posting this vid, isn’t there my fellow Canadians? Yeah, we pissed them off. I can’t help but get a precocious little devilish grin because it’s so easy to push the Yankee’s buttons. They’re so testy, huh?

Anyways: One thought stuck with me watching the host bark at her guest and not actually ask any solid questions: SHUT THE HELL UP YOU SHRILL MONSTER OF A HUMAN BEING AND QUIT ACCUSING CANADIANS OF BEING COMMIE TERRORISTS AND SAVE THE CANNED MORAL INDIGNATION FOR SOMETHING IMPORTANT. Please?

Like maybe your tanking economy? Or a thousand other problems that have made America the enemy/laughingstock/embarassing drunk/loudmouthed uncle at the world BBQ? Calm.The.Hell.Down. Bin Laden didn’t just spit on the flag.

Its nothing worse than what John Stewart or Samantha Bee would have said on the Daily Show. And if John Oliver said it, it would have been even funnier with the accent and all.

But what bothered me is this shrill aggro bitch harping on the fact that its a “publically-funded” site like that’s some sort of moral issue -and that the CBC is obviously a “far-left organization”, saying it with the same spittle reserved for “the turrorists” We all know the right loves to play hardball and humourlessly smear the left, but can’t take their own medicine. Or a joke. Ever. Thanks for the reminder, lady.
